Forgot I also have to update on newgrounds. oops. Anyway, Heres an Update on my Game! :)

Hey Fellas. Been a month since i my last update post and a month since I announced that I was

working on a video game for my character "Ve". I've been think about making these kinds of 

updates a Monthly thing because i think it could be fun to tell you all what i've been up to while

i'm making art and working on this game. So, expect these updates around the 26th of each

month (Maybe a day eailer or later depending on life stuff) Anyway, On to the updates!

PROGRESS ON THE GAME:

Progress as of now is starting to step in terms of devlopment. Recently got a New menu for the

game set up so people can boot in and out from it. I should say that progress around the

begining of october slowed down due to some personal life stuff and dealing with brain stuff i 

dont want to talk about. (That explains why i haven't been active on alot of my accounts) But,

i've been getting better again, and so, the game is making more progress. As of writing, i made

a Temp Main menu screen that will be posted below

WHATS NEXT FOR THE GAME?:

Right now, i want to make a way for the player to "Beat" the game. Mostly make it to a point

where if the player gets to a certain part of the level, they win. That and creating a pause menu,

but those shouldnt be too hard. Theres still LOTS of things needing to be done with this game,

but those are things i wanna tackle first. Stuff like new art assets and music are far down the 

list, but will be tooken care of when i get to it.

ANYTHING CHANGE WITH DEVOLPMENT DURING THIS AND THE LAST UPDATE?:

Not really. Though, theres a good chance that i'll be porting my game to mobile sooner to

when its ready. This isnt a confirmation that its coming to mobile, just something i've been

considering. Other then that, Still plan on it to come out on PC first and then i'll see where i can

go from there.

ANYTHING ELSE COOL HAPPEN?:

Was in a smash bros tournment and won for once. That was pretty fun. Also Completed super

Mario Bros. Wonder the other day. Game of the year, no contest. I also got the expansion pack

for switch online, so I've been excited to play game like paper mario And Banjo-Kazooie when

i got more time.

Hey Fellas! Today is a pretty cool day for me. Its my 20th birthday! Turn of the next

decade of my life! The next GENeration if you will (I'm sorry) Anyway, i got something

cool i wanted to tell you guys about. A little project of mine that has been in the works 

since the begining of last year. That being that my character, Ve, is getting her own

video game to call her own!

Thats alot to say all at once so, let me try and explain. I've been taking game dev 

classes at my local college for about a year now and have been slowly chipping away

at this game during that time. It did go under a bit during my summer break since I 

wanted to focus on giving myself a break from all of it, but ever since early this month,

i've been making some really good progress. The game is still FAR from done. As of

writing this, i recently finished the checkpoint system. So, the basic gameplay loop has

been (mostly) Completed at this point. There is still ALOT to be done. Like adding in

some more important features like beating levels, how kind of game it will be overall,

and assets (its mostly just placeholder stuff right now)

All i will say is keep in mind that this is my first game that i've ever made. There will be

alot of things that will need ironing out for it. And for a project only I'm working on, its 

gonna take alot of time and effort. As of now, i'm trying to aim for a April/May of 2024

release time and it will be coming only to PC so far. (The engine i'm building it in 

dosen't support consoles i dont think). Again, this isn't gonna be a big, massive game

with 50+ hours of gameplay in a big open world. Its just a game for our girl VE!

As of art stuff, i have been taking a bit of a breather from it. Not that i'm burned out or

anything, but i wanted to just take a bit of time off from it. I do got plans for this 

upcoming month though. Its gonna be cool! 

Other then that, I've been doing pretty well as of late. Playing games and having as

much fun as possible. Don't have much to say other then that i think. If i can, i guess

i'll add it in later.
